Jessamyn Fitzpatrick
Living History Teaching Artist
Jessamyn Fitzpatrick is a Chicago born actor and educator. A graduate of Reed College in Portland, Ore., Jessamyn has performed with various Chicago companies including Broken Nose Theatre, Raven Theatre, Walkabout and Imagination Theatre. A former TimeLine House Manager, Jessamyn is proud to be a teaching artist with TimeLine Theatre.
The first production I remember seeing was My Kind of Town, which was such a searing, necessary story of my hometown city’s history. I knew then and there that this was a company I wanted to work with.
Jessamyn is also an educator with Catharsis Productions, with whom she performs Sex Signals, an interactive show about gender, sexual violence and consent. She is a company member with For Youth Inquiry for the Illinois Caucus of Adolescent Health, which offers participatory theatre and workshops surrounding reproductive justice. She recently completed her first producing/playwriting credit with FIRST, a play about virginity through ICAH. Much love and light to all your brave, warrior hearts.
