Hear from Tony Award-winning librettist James Lapine on Thursday, November 14! Join us at Court Theatre for a post-show conversation between Lapine and professor Jennifer Brier, PhD, as they discuss Falsettos‘ role in depicting the HIV/AIDS crisis.
Lapine – a frequent collaborator of both William Finn and Stephen Sondheim – is perhaps best known for his work on Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and other prominent musicals. He has won the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical three times (Falsettos, Into the Woods, and Passion), in addition to multiple Drama Desk Awards and the Pulitzer Prize. He was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame in 2011.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from one of the creators of this groundbreaking musical and ask him your questions!
