John Boller teaches in the Mathematics Department at the University of Chicago. His area of specialization is the representation theory of p-adic groups. He also has served as production dramaturg in Chicago area theatre, including for PROOF and ARCADIA (Court Theatre), and ROCK ‘N’ ROLL (Goodman).
Emil Martinec is a physics professor and director of the Kadanoff Center for Theoretical Physics at the University of Chicago. His research aims at uncovering the conceptual foundations of string theory, and has in recent years focused on the quantum nature of black holes.
Alka Nayyar is the Associate Director of TimeLine’s A DISAPPEARING NUMBER and a theatre artist whose previous credits include work with the Goodman, Court, Rasaka, Silk Road Rising and Navy Pier’s Amazing India! festivals, among others. She also teaches dance at the Old Town School of Dance and Chitrahar.
