Amanda Schaar

Amanda Schaar returned to TimeLine Theatre as Susan Parks in THE PITMEN PAINTERS after understudying (performing) the ladies of THE FRONT PAGE. Amanda, who recently moved to Chicago, has performed with the national tour of NEW VOICES (Childsplay), WISDOM OF SERPENTS (Northwestern University, reading) and ZOMBIES ATTACK CHICAGO (The Spot). Regional credits include MEASURE FOR MEASURE and RICHARD II (Poor Players in San Diego); TARTUFFE, THE WINTER’S TALE and AS YOU LIKE IT (Southwest Shakespeare Theatre); TALE OF TWO CITIES (Childsplay); ALICE IN WONDERLAND and THE SWORD IN THE STONE (Phoenix Theatre); as well as countless pieces of experimental theater in the Arizona underground. She holds a BFA degree in Theatre and Acting from the Herberger College of the Arts at Arizona State University.
