Amanda Sweger

Amanda was thrilled to design for the first time at TimeLine with IN DARFUR. She recently was the scenic designer for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (Porchlight Music Theatre) and the scenic and lighting designer for GHOSTBOX (InFusion Theatre). Amanda has just completed the coursework for an MFA degree in the Stage Design Program at Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, she designed the set for THE WHO’S TOMMY, the lighting and the set for the ORLANDO, and the lighting for MAD FOREST, GHETTO, and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. This summer was her fourth season as resident scenic designer at Timber Lake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, designing CHICAGO; STEEL MAGNOLIAS; OKLAHOMA!; LOVE, SEX AND THE IRS; and CURTAINS.
