J. Robert Barr

Bob joined the law firm now known as Sidley Austin LLP after his graduation from law school in 1960, became a partner in the firm in 1970, and retired from that firm in 2002. He specialized in state and local tax matters.

He holds a BA degree in History and Political Science from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa and an Ll.B. degree from Harvard Law School.
