CARMEN ROMAN is making her TimeLine debut with THE AUDIENCE. Recent theater credits include MY FAIR LADY (Chicago Lyric Opera), SOTTO VOCCE (Portland Stage, ME) and BOTANIC GARDEN (multiple regional tours). Last spring, she played opposite Hal Linden in MOON OVER BUFFALO (The New Theater, Kansas City). Other theatre credits include ANGELS IN AMERICA (National Tour); THE IPHIGENIA CYCLE (Court); THE MYSTERIES (Classic Stage Company); WIT, BLACK SNOW and BRUTALITY OF FACT (Goodman); SIDE MAN (Steppenwolf); THE PRICE (Syracuse Stage and Geva Theatre Center), THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST(Centerstage, Baltimore), and 13 seasons with Peninsula Players. Television credits include CHICAGO PD, BETRAYAL, BOSS, ALL MY CHILDREN, EARLY EDITION, LAW AND ORDER, LAW AND ORDER: SVU, and CRIMINAL INTENT. Film credits include SAVAGES and THE FALCON (a co-production shot in Soviet Georgia). Carmen is a Company Member with American Blues Theater and Circling the Drain (New York). She is a 2002 Fox Fellow, Sarah Siddons Award winner, Florence Herscher Award winner, and Joseph Jefferson Award winner (Actress in a Principal Role – Play) for MASTER CLASS and WIT.
