Derek Garza

Derek Garza made his TimeLine Theatre debut in MY KIND OF TOWN. He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Mortar Theatre Company and was last seen as Eben in Mortar’s production of I AM MONTANA. Around Chicago he also has worked with Victory Gardens, Chicago Dramatists, and Steppenwolf theaters, among others. Derek recently returned from Toronto, where he played Almighty Voice in the Canadian tour of ALMIGHTY VOICE AND HIS WIFE. He received his MFA degree in Acting from Penn State University and his BA degree in Theatre from Adams State College. He would like to thank Nick and PJ for the opportunity to work at TimeLine with this amazing cast and crew!
