Kelley Simpkins returned to TimeLine for SPILL, where she previously appeared in IN DARFUR. She has been collaborating on SPILL for four years as a dramaturg and performer and was in the 2014 world premiere in Louisiana. She is an original creator/performer of THE LARAMIE PROJECT (Off-Broadway, Denver Center, Berkeley Repertory, LaJolla Playhouse). Her other theatre credits include TEDDY FERRARA (Goodman); THE KID THING (Chicago Dramatists, Equity Jeff Award nomination – Actress in a Principal Role, Play); PONY (About Face Theatre); LATE: A COWBOY SONG (Piven); THE LARAMIE TOUR: THE LARAMIE PROJECT & THE LARAMIE PROJECT EPILOGUE; CELEBRITY ROW (American Theater Company); FAIR USE, GOOD BOYS AND TRUE and ONE ARM (Steppenwolf); EXECUTION OF JUSTICE (About Face); and THE PEOPLE’S TEMPLE (Guthrie, Perseverance and Berkeley Repertory). Film and TV credits include EMPIRE, BETRAYAL, A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, CHASING AMY, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT and HBO’s THE LARAMIE PROJECT (Emmy Award nomination – Ensemble Writing).
