Maridee Quanbeck
Maridee joined TimeLine’s Board of Directors in 2019. A retired corporate lawyer, she served as an associate and then partner at two Chicago law firms, focusing on general corporate work, mergers and acquisitions, and copyright law. She holds a BA and MA in English from Washington State University, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
Throughout her career, Maridee has utilized her love of history, from serving as an Editor at Harper & Row Publishers in their textbook division, to assisting the general counsel of Encyclopaedia Britannica.
I minored in history in college, but studying it could be pretty dull. Using theater to teach it is so much more entertaining!
In addition to theater, Maridee enjoys music, travel, and spending time with her two adorable grandchildren.
