Norman Yap

Norman is making his TimeLine debut as Zhang Lin in CHIMERICA. He recently moved to Chicago from Canada and is grateful to have performed several roles on stage and screen since arriving. Latest Chicago credits include IMPERFECTLY FRANK (A-Squared, Chicago Dramatists) and UM SA DET YOONG (A-Squared, Chicago Dramatists, written by Norman). Notable TV and film credits include AIR EMERGENCY (FOX/NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC), CHINA RISES (CBC/NY TIMES, Voiceover), IMOGEN, THE ACHE, and ROLLERBALL (MGM). Upcoming roles include a lead in the feature film SHADOWS OF DEATH as well as a lead role in the comedy pilot NOT YOUR AVERAGE BILL. Norman is an accredited screenwriter and was recognized as one of the Emerging 20 Artists during the 2011 ReelWorld Film Festival’s Indie Film Lounge at the Toronto International Film Festival.
