Oscar Vasquez III

OSCAR VASQUEZ III made his TimeLine Theatre debut with A Raisin in the Sun. Other Chicago stage credits include Turkey Boy in two seasons of A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre), Nibs in Peter Pan (Lil Buds Theatre), King Ali in King Ali’s New Threads and featured dancer in Destination Freedom (ETA Creative Arts). Oscar’s film credits include Jonah in the award-winning short film Jonah and the Crab directed by Laurel Cohen. In addition to acting and dance, Oscar is establishing a presence in the musical and visual arts. He is a budding saxophonist and studies under Chicago jazz master Ari Brown. He is also an avid painter and has studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
