RESHMI HAZRA worked with TimeLine Theatre for the first time on CONCERNING STRANGE DEVICES FROM THE DISTANT WEST. She holds an MFA degree in Directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University and a BFA degree in Drama from New York University. Other projects include 2ND STORY, BASTARDS (Vesturport), THE PENTAEON (Fox Valley Repertory) and APPROPRIATE (Victory Gardens Theater). Past favorite projects include VENUS by Suzan-Lori Parks, INKY by Rinne Groff, MONSTER by Neal Bell, SUNSET PARTY by Cory Conley and WHAT WILL I DO WHEN YOU’RE GONE? by Neal Bell. She is a recipient of the Robert Moss Directing Residency at Playwrights Horizons as well as the Artist of Color Fellowship at New York Theatre Workshop. Upcoming work includes projects with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Erasing the Distance and Next Theatre Company.
