Sam Hurwitz
Audience Services Assistant
Sam is a theater artist, producer and arts administrator. Originally from NYC, she moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in Comedy Writing and Performance at Columbia College Chicago… and then they moved to Hanoi to teach English for 3 years, but that’s another story. Sam is a Company Member of Facility Theatre where, most recently, she produced and assistant-directed the U.S. premiere of Right Now by Catherine-Anne Toupin, which received 8 nominations at the 2024 Non-Equity Joseph Jefferson Awards, including Best Production of a Play.
I am inspired by TimeLine’s commitment to access! Whether it be physical, financial, or otherwise, there are definitely barriers that keep folks from coming to the theater, and I’m proud to be on a team that makes it easier for folks to have an enjoyable experience.
