Trevor Wise
Finance Manager
Originally from a farm in North Missouri, Trevor received his undergraduate degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Writing for Performance from the University of Missouri—Columbia and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Most recently, Trevor served as the Finance Associate for Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, FL. Prior to Gulfshore Playhouse, Trevor served as the Director of Finance for for Ragtag Film Society which houses Ragtag Cinema and the True/False Film Fest. Additionally, Trevor has served as the Managing Director for Dobama Theatre in Cleveland Heights, OH, Donor Relations Manager at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA and as the Development Manager of Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA. Trevor has also worked with The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center (was a member of the staff when it was named recipient of the 2010 Regional Theatre Tony Award), George Street Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre, and was instrumental in the founding of the BurkTech Players—a theatre company for individuals identifying on the autism spectrum.
While a majority of Trevor’s time is now spent on the administrative side of theatre, he does occasionally grace the stage as a performer—a few favorite roles have included Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, The Judge and Figment of Stanley in Interior Panic: An Evening of Tennessee Williams, and originating the role of Dave Bell in Craigslisted in addition to being an active member of The Ponies, a short form improv group. Trevor is a proud alumnus of the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program and still pretends to be conversationally fluent in German. He is the proud “Dogfather” to a wonderful girl named Stella.
