Yueh-Yeh Li

Originally from Taiwan, Dennis Yueh-Yeh Li works as a director, playwright, performer, and sometimes interpreter/translator for the arts. Dennis’ works explore sexuality, power structure, and recently have focused on diaspora experiences, particularly of the Chinese American communities. Dennis is especially interested in adapting rarely produced modern classics by connecting them with current socio-political phenomenon and issues. Dennis earned his MA in Performance Studies at New York University.

Dennis is an alumnus of Drama League’s New York Directing Fellowship as well as Target Margin Theater’s Institute Fellowship. Dennis is also a member of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab.
