Carin Schapiro Silkaitis

Carin Schapiro Silkaitis is thrilled to make her TimeLine debut working on A SHAYNA MAIDEL. Theatre credits include MACHINAL and I DO TODAY (Greenhouse); VISITING (Artemisia); LIPS TOGETHER, TEETH APART (Eclipse); SONS OF THE PROPHET and DISTRACTED (American Theater Company), RICHARD III (Oak Park Festival Theatre); RABBIT HOLE (u/s Goodman); SEVEN HOMELESS MAMMOTHS WANDER NEW ENGLAND (Theater Wit); and THE REALM (The Other Theatre Company). Television and film credits include CHICAGO FIRE, UNEXPECTED, BEING HERE, PRECIOUS THINGS, and BLOOD AND WATER. Carin is the Head of Acting in the Department of Theatre at North Central College. She is a graduate of the School at Steppenwolf, and she received her MFA in acting from the Theatre Conservatory at Roosevelt University. Carin is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, and she is equally proud to be represented by Gray Talent Group.
