Danny Postel

Danny Postel is the Editor of The Common Review, the magazine of the Great Books Foundation. He is the author of Reading “Legitimation Crisis” in Tehran: Iran and the Future of Liberalism (2006) and the co-editor, with Nader Hashemi, of The People Reloaded: The Green Movement and the Struggle for Iran’s Future (2011). Formerly a Senior Editor of openDemocracy, a London-based online magazine of global politics and ideas, and a former staff writer for the Chronicle of Higher Education, his work has appeared in The American Prospect, the Chicago Tribune, The Guardian, The Nation, the New Humanist, and the Washington Post Book World, among other publications.
