Eme Ospina-López (Projections Designer) Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Eme is a shapeshifting storyteller and artivist, growing and nurturing community roots in Chicago. They are proud to join TimeLine for the first time and they are moved that Sandra’s is the play the stars have aligned for. Eme dedicates themselves to stories that defy erasure and engage us with our responsibilities in the making of liberated futures. They move with the conviction that being co-creators of collective rituals, we are imbuing how deeply connected our struggles and freedoms are to one another’s, illuminating how critically our dreams rely on learning to disarm what destroys us and rebuild together. Inshallah we will continue to find each other through works that share the lifeblood of immigrant resistance.
