Jonathan  has been a professor of theater and drama in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Loyola University Chicago for more than 30 years and has been involved in professional theater in Chicago and around the country for 25 years. In Chicago, his work has been seen at Court, Goodman, Northlight, Organic, Steppenwolf and Victory Gardens theaters and at Pegasus Players. Elsewhere, he has directed productions at Circle in the Square in New York City, Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., Hartford Stage in Connecticut, Alley Theatre in Houston, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Playhouse in the Park in Cincinnati. He directed Athol Fugard’s PLAYLAND at Steppenwolf Theatre in 1994. He has received several Jeff Award nominations for his direction; he received the award in 2006 for TWO TRAINS RUNNING at Pegasus Players. Wilson holds degrees in play direction from Daeman College in Buffalo, N.Y., University of Cincinnati and Northwestern University.
