Mike Durst

MIKE DURST is a Chicago-based lighting designer and ensemble member with A Red Orchid Theatre. Previously TimeLine credits include THE LAST WIFE. Current and upcoming designs include SIMPATICO (The McCarter Theatre Center), TRAITOR (A Red Orchid Theatre), THE BELLE OF AMHERST (Court), HANG MAN (The Gift), and THE ARISTOPHANESATHON (The Hypocrites).  Off Broadway credits include work with Primary Stages, 59e59, and Cherry Lane.  Regional credits include work with Huntington Theatre, Lookingglass, Olney Theatre Center, McCarter Theater Center, and Court Theater.  National Tours include IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA ‘THE NIGHTMAN COMETH’.  Mike is a lecturer of Lighting Design at The University of Chicago. He is a recipient of Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Award, L.A.’s Ovation Award, and San Diego’s Craig Noel Award.
