The Sondra A. & Denis Healy Theatre is located on DePaul University’s Lincoln Park campus. It is an 100-seat black box in The Theatre School’s artistic home at the corner of Fullerton and Racine.

PARKING

Parking Garage

It is recommended that visitors to The Theatre School park in the Clifton Parking Deck, 2330 N. Clifton Avenue.

The DePaul rates are $13 before 4 p.m., $10 on weekends, and after 4 p.m. Anyone not using a DePaul ID or voucher/validation stamp will be charged $17 per 12 hours. A parking validation machine is located at the first floor box office in The Theatre School.

DRIVING

From the North and Northwest

From the Kennedy Expressway (I90/I94) exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn left (East). DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus is approximately two miles from the expressway. One big block past N. Lakewood, turn right on Racine. The Theatre School Building is located in the southwest corner of the Fullerton/Racine intersection.

From the West

From the Eisenhower Expressway (I290), turn onto the Kennedy Expressway (I90/I94) heading toward Wisconsin. From the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn right (East). One big block past N. Lakewood, turn right on Racine. The Theatre School Building is located in the southwest corner of the Fullerton/Racine intersection.

From the South

From the Dan Ryan Expressway (I90/I94) continue as the expressway becomes the Kennedy Expressway (I90/I94). Exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn right (East). One big block past N. Lakewood, turn right on Racine. The Theatre School building is located in the southwest corner of the Fullerton/Racine intersection.

From Lake Shore Drive (North or South)

Exit Lake Shore Drive at Fullerton Avenue. Head west for approximately three miles. Turn left at Racine (one block past Clifton). The Theatre School building is located in the southwest corner of the Fullerton/Racine intersection.


PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The Theatre School is accessible via CTA Red, Brown, and Purple lines. Exit at Fullerton, walk west on Fullerton to Racine Avenue (past Kenmore Ave, the quad, and Clifton), then turn left on Racine.

The #74 Fullerton bus is nearby, as well as the #8 Halsted. The #22 Clark bus stops at Clark and Fullerton, about a 15 minute walk away.

Seating

Although seating for performances is general admission, accessible seats may be requested for patrons who need specific seating due to disability. If you require accessible seating, please let us know when you place your reservation how we may assist you in finding the best seats to fit your needs.

Service Animals: If you will be attending with a service animal, please let us know in advance so we can make sure you and your service animal have the best experience possible.

If you prefer to order your tickets online, you may request special reserved seat locations based on your preferences by providing these codes in the order comment box:

  • TRANSFER: Use this code if you wish to transfer to a seat from a walker, wheelchair, or scooter. Our staff will be on hand to then store your mobility device in a secure location.
  • REMOVAL: Use this code of you require a location where a seat can be removed for you to stay in your wheelchair or scooter while you watch the performance.
  • NOSTAIRS: Use this code if you require a location where there are no stairs between you and your seats.

NOTE: There are a limited number of accessible seats per performance and we cannot guarantee that larger parties will be seated in the same row.

IMPORTANT: Reserved accessible seating will be released to other patrons if not claimed by 10 minutes prior to curtain.
