CHRISTINE A. BINDER, U.S.A. made her TimeLine debut on THE HOW AND THE WHY. Christine has designed for Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare, Court, Redmoon, Northlight, Lookingglass, McCarter Theatre, Hartford Stage, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and many others. Her opera designs include works at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Opera Theatre, San Diego Opera, New York City Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Florida Grand Opera and Houston Grand Opera. Other designs include EASTLAND, BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGDAD ZOO and BIG LAKE, BIG CITY (Lookingglass); WOODY SEZ and THE WHIPPING MAN (Northlight); THE LETTERS (Writers); and DON PASQUALE and OKLAHOMA! (Lyric Opera of Chicago). Christine has been nominated for Jeff Awards for work with Court, Northlight and Lookingglass, and is an Artistic Associate with Lookingglass. She is the head of the Lighting Design Program at The Theatre School at DePaul University.
