JAMES HOUTON has appeared in TimeLine’s productions of JUNO, THE PITMEN PAINTERS (Equity Jeff Award – Production, Play, Midsize), NOT ABOUT NIGHTINGALES (Non-Equity Jeff Award – Production), PRAVDA and A CRY OF PLAYERS. Other Chicago credits include A WOMAN IN MIND (Eclipse); DAVID COPPERFIELD, THE CRUCIBLE and A TALE OF TWO CITIES (Steppenwolf); SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER (Northlight); PYGMALION (Apple Tree Theatre); LOOT (Writers); and FLANAGAN’S WAKE and MIRANDOLINA (The Noble Fool). He has worked extensively with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks as an actor and directed MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING for their school tour. Regional credits include SOMEONE WHO’LL WATCH OVER ME (Studio Theatre, Washington, D.C.) and FLANAGAN’S WAKE (Off-Broadway). James holds a BFA degree in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
