José Manuel Díaz-Soto

JOSÉ MANUEL DÍAZ-SOTO has been designing for drama, musical theater, and film for twenty years. Recently projects include ADMISSIONS, TIME IS ON OUR SIDE, THE EXPLORER’S CLUB (Jeff Award nomination, Scenic Design – Midsize), THE MADRES, AMERICAN JORNALERO, POLAROID STORIES and RED. Musical Theater and Opera credits include BURNHAM’S DREAM, DON GIOVANNI, EVITA, GODSPEL, LES MISÉRABLES, MAN OF LA MANCHA, KISS ME KATE, SISTER ACT and LEGALLY BLONDE. A native from Bayamón, Puerto Rico; José holds a BA degree in Fine Arts from the University of The Sacred Heart, credits in Drama from the University of PR and an MFA degree in Scenic Design from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
