Rae Shuman

Rae joined the TimeLine staff in 2015. She is motivated by the integrity of the work and the degree to which everyone involved with TimeLine is dedicated to its unique mission.

The first show she saw at TimeLine was BLOOD AND GIFTS.  The documentary style of the play, the quality of the production, and the attention to dramaturgical detail completely floored her.

There is no better way to tell a story about the past than theatre, and TimeLine does it so well. Also I’m a dramaturgy nerd, and the fact that TimeLine takes its dramaturgy so seriously is inspiring.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Rae lived in South America, Europe, and Asia growing up. She earned her BFA in Theatre Management from DePaul University.
