Regina García

REGINA GARCÍA (Scenic Designer) is a Chicago-based scenic designer from Puerto Rico. She has had long standing relationships with the Latinx Theatre’s renowned Teatros, most recently The People’s Theatre in New York City. Recent regional work includes GeVa Theatre (Rochester, N.Y.) and South Coast Rep (Orange County, Calif.). Regina is a Fellow of the Princess Grace Awards USA and the NEA/TCG Development Program for Designers, and is the recipient of USITT’s 2025 Distinguished Achievement Award in Scenic Design and Technology. She is the Head of the Scenic Design program at The Theatre School at DePaul University and a founding member of La Gente: The Latinx Theatre Production Network. Visit garciaportfolio.com.
