I know you are sitting there saying to yourself, “There are only 10 days until TimeLine’s annual Step Into Time benefit. I wonder what is going on over at 615 W. Wellington Ave.”
For those who know me, it should be no surprise that today I’m talking about numbers. How many Step Into Time tickets are there left to sell (29)? How many more raffle tickets do we need to sell to meet our goal (182)? When will we stop selling raffle tickets online (03/25/2010 5:00 PM)?
Number of raffle sellers (6)? TimeLine always costumes our raffle sellers as characters appropriate to the theme. This year the theme is TV. Sorry — you will have to come to the event to find out who the raffle sellers will be dressed as. It is a secret.
Did I mention we have only 29 tickets left for the event?
Last year at Step Into Time I talked about our intimate theatre space on Wellington Avenue. Because of this space we are only able to have an audience ranging from 80-94 a night, depending on the seating configuration. Last year at Step Into Time we had a captive audience of 174 guests. Up until that point it was the biggest TimeLine audience I had ever gotten to speak to. Then Opening Night of All My Sons blew the record (195 people).
I have a new goal for the size of a TimeLine audience this year (240 people). If you haven’t purchased your tickets for Step Into Time, it isn’t too late.
It will be a great party. And there will be further talk of numbers because we have been on a numbers roll the past 12 months. And we are all gathering to raise money to support TimeLine’s big ambitious programs so it is also about the Benjamins.
I hope to see you on the 26th!
