Increasing by 50%

50% has been a big number for us this year. Earlier in the season we achieved a 50% increase in subscriptions over our 2008-09 year. We’ve had at least 50% more audience members see a TimeLine show this year compared to last. And today TimeLine announced that as we launch our 2010-11 season, we are increasing our full-time staff by 50% as well!

nickbowling_200pxNick Bowling — well-known to TimeLine audiences as the director of 15 of our productions, including many of our most acclaimed shows (This Happy Breed, The Crucible, Fiorello!, The History Boys, The Farnsworth Invention and many others) — is coming on board in the newly created position of Associate Artistic Director. He will work closely with Artistic Director PJ Powers to ensure that TimeLine’s artistic programming remains strong, and will also help with fundraising and audience development initiatives. Nick was the founding Artistic Director of TimeLine and was instrumental in getting the original six Company members together to start the company back in 1997.

Tracy Domeracki

And Tracy Domeracki, who for the past two seasons has served as our part-time Audience Services Manager — you’ve probably talked to her on the phone when making your subscriber reservations/ordering tickets! — will now be full-time in that role, thanks to a special project grant from Prince Charitable Trusts.

They join the previous quartet — PJ, Managing Director Elizabeth K. Auman, Director of Marketing Lara Goetsch and Development Manager Lydia P. Swift — to manage the day-to-day operations of this ever-growing ship we call TimeLine Theatre Company.

All of us at TimeLine could not be more thrilled to welcome Nick and Tracy to their new positions. They officially start on July 1.
