Josephine Kearns is a proud queer transgender artist who has worked on 28 productions at TimeLine spanning over a decade, and who is currently serving as both gender identity consultant and dramaturg for BOY. Josephine was TimeLine’s staff Production Manager from 2010-2016, where she oversaw productions that garnered eight Equity Jeff Award nominations for Best Production (winning three), and 21 nominations for design (winning four). She is also an Equity Stage Manager, with work including several TimeLine productions, development workshops for the eventual world premieres of TO MASTER THE ART and MY KIND OF TOWN and the Chicago premiere of SPILL, and the productions for nine of TimeLine’s annual STEP INTO TIME galas. Other past stage management credits include work at Piven Theatre Workshop, Theatre Charlotte, and as an apprentice at Steppenwolf.
